Multiple Award Winner

atmosfair has emerged as the winner in numerous comparative studies. This is, among others, attributed to our high level of transparency, low administrative costs, climate protection projects adhering to the highest standards, and scientifically sound and accurate calculation of emissions.

Low Administrative Costs

Since its establishment, atmosfair has managed to consistently keep the proportion of administrative costs below 10%. atmosfair is committed to ensuring transparent and efficient use of donations. Therefore, we adhere to a clear 90:10 rule: never more than 10% of our expenses are used for administrative costs, while at least 90% directly fund our climate protection projects. In fact, in recent years, we have even reduced this percentage to approximately 5%, ensuring that nearly €95 out of every €100 donated directly supports climate protection efforts. This efficiency is also reflected in our receipt of the DZI Donation Seal. The German Central Institute for Social Issues in Berlin awards this seal to non-profit organizations following extensive and independent review. The DZI evaluates effective and economical use of funds, good organizational management, fair fundraising practices, appropriate compensation, and transparency of non-profit organizations. atmosfair has been carrying the DZI Donation Seal since 2020 and has been confirmed to have a particularly low proportion of administrative costs.
